The Role & Its Impact
As an Aircraft Systems Installer/Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the precise installation and testing of critical aircraft systems in the Final Assembly Line. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, functionality, and reliability of the aircraft we deliver. Every system you install will help shape the future of aviation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble mechanical components for aircraft assembly
Install, mark, adapt, and secure mechanical parts, ensuring they meet specifications
Conduct inspections of bonding, following drawings and system requirements
Test and check system functions to ensure all systems are operational
Specialize in specific areas, such as:
VTP and HTP installation
Hydraulic lines installation
Air conditioning and fuel system installation
MLG & Tank testing and Gauging Tests
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and working on jigs and hydraulic lifts up to 40 feet high
Ensure high-quality work, maintaining productivity and adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Aviation Production or equivalent
High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of training/experience
Ability to lift up to 55lbs/25kg and work in various physical environments (standing, squatting, kneeling)
Adequate vision for reading and identifying aircraft components
Good hearing to engage in communication and respond to safety alerts
Preferred:
Experience with aircraft system testing and assembly
Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, hydraulic lines, and fuel systems
Certification in relevant aviation maintenance programs
