PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to hire an experienced Aircraft Quality Inspector/Inspection Authorized Representative. In this highly visible role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring aircraft meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance before returning to service.

What You'll Do – Your Mission Every Day
You'll serve as a key member of the Quality and Engineering team, supporting aircraft certification, inspections, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
Perform aircraft and component inspections using FAA-approved procedures, engineering data, and quality documentation.
Conduct first article inspections to verify compliance with FAA and organizational standards.
Certify aircraft and components as airworthy prior to delivery and return-to-service.
Issue FAA Form 8130-3 documentation for authorized conformity, prototype, export, and return-to-service activities.
Support aircraft and component certification activities while ensuring compliance with FAA and ODA requirements.
Review and approve aircraft logbook entries, configuration records, and installation documentation.
Monitor compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station requirements and Quality Control procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to inspection personnel regarding FAA regulations and certification requirements.
Coordinate inspection priorities to maximize quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Seven (7) years of aircraft inspection experience, including at least three (3) years inspecting large or mid-size aircraft or aircraft of similar complexity.
Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, quality systems, aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and inspection documentation.
Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, customer bulletins, airworthiness directives, and manufacturing specifications.
Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control methodologies.
Ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate if an A&P License is not currently held.
For roles supporting Inspection Authorized Representative (IAR) activities, ability to complete FAA/ODA designee training and obtain required certifications within established timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
Inspection Authorization (IA).
American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
Previous experience serving as a DAR, DMIR, ODAR, ODA Unit Member, or FAA Designee.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CATIA, AIR, and SmarTeam.
Experience supporting aircraft certification and FAA conformity inspections.
Familiarity complex aircraft.
