Summary:

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions for satellite ground systems.

Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and software system architecture.

Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance.

Supports planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.

Develops, executes, and documents test plans, procedures, and reports of the ground system from single components to larger functional systems.

Performs ground Command and Control (C2) software system integration and test and formal qualification.

Applies concept of requirement verification and test process for ground systems.

Analyzes system requirements and subsystem requirements and develops interface design documents.

Supports ground systems architecture and design, software system integration, system verification, and demonstration to assure ground system satisfies customer requirements.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance required.

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Experience in verification and test of ground software Command and Control (C2) systems.

Preferred: Experience in writing requirements and interface control documents (ICDs) of ground systems.

Preferred: Experience in developing, generating, and executing system test plans, procedures, and reports.

Preferred: Experience working in a team of systems engineers using scaled agile development process.

Preferred: Experience in system requirements generation, verification, and system integration and test (I&T) for at least 3 years.

Preferred: Strong skills in system engineering analysis and requirements tracing.
