Integration and Test Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
•10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.
•Windows and Linux Cross-Platform test execution.
•Testing micro-service architectures.
•Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.
•Frontend testing of a Web UI.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Writing and executing test plans.
•Install and configure software components.
• Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
•Document, track, and report defects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•CompTIA Security+ certification.
•Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.
•Knowledge of Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools such as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS).
•VMWare virtualized environment experience.
•Experience with Agile workflows using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

•4/10-1st Shift
