Schedule: Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Pay Rate starting at : $35.57 per hour
Industry: Aviation & Defense
As an Electronic Technician, you'll perform repair, modification, testing, and maintenance activities on advanced electronic and Electronic Warfare systems. You'll be responsible for ensuring critical equipment performs reliably in demanding operational environments.
Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies
Wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies
Perform routine preventative maintenance on Special Test Equipment (STE) and test stations
Conduct troubleshooting to the component level to identify and resolve malfunctions
Operate and interpret readings from advanced test equipment, including:
Spectrum Analyzers
Network Analyzers
Curve Tracers
Oscilloscopes
Signal Generators
Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
Support routine engineering and experimental testing activities
Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments
Apply practical electronic theory and utilize standard electronic tools and equipment
Follow technical documentation, test procedures, work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings
Collaborate with teammates to ensure quality, compliance, and operational excellence
Associate's degree in an electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in an electronics-related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of relevant electronics experience
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters (DMMs), or similar electronic test equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems and assemblies
Ability to recognize basic electronic components and interpret schematics, diagrams, sketches, and verbal instructions
Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and process documentation
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be able to work assigned shifts
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Candidates with the following experience will stand out:
Experience working with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a laboratory environment
Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and subassemblies
Experience testing and tuning microwave assemblies
Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems
Soldering experience or formal soldering training
Current, active Secret DoD Security Clearance
