Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 1 for a contract opportunity in San Diego, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o High School diploma or equivalent and zero years of experience.
o Attention to detail.
o Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions.
o Good written and verbal communication skills.
o Familiar with Microsoft Produces and able to learn how to operate various software systems (Costpoint CP and MES).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Manufacturing Technician 1 to support our Team. The selected candidate will report to the appropriate Value Stream Manager, to support key production programs.

Responsibilities:
o Support the assembly of various composite and metallic components.
o Read and comprehend Manufacturing Work Instructions and internal specifications.
o Follow both written and verbal directions.
o Good time management and a team player.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Mechanically inclined Familiar with composite and metallic details
o Experience in a manufacturing environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 workweek. This position will be on-site at the Miramar, San Diego site.
