Position Details
Job Title: Customer Service / Customer Order Administrator
The first two months of employment are 100% onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA for training. This requirement is non-negotiable. Following training, the role transitions to a hybrid work arrangement.

1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

About the Role
As a Customer Order Administrator, you will serve as a critical support partner to the Intertrade Sales Team and act as a primary point of contact for customer sales orders. In this role, you'll manage order administration activities, coordinate with multiple internal departments, and help ensure products and services are delivered accurately and on time.
Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the successful execution of commitments across a global aviation supply chain.
What You'll Do
As a Customer Service professional supporting the sales organization, you will:
Create, process, and oversee sales orders according to established requirements.
Monitor and facilitate exchange orders, warranty requests, credits, and purchase requests.
Complete administrative tasks related to material sales and credits.
Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Product Line, Repairs, Finance, Purchasing, and Global Trade.
Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve transactional issues and inquiries.
Manage and monitor shared sales support email inboxes.
Ensure customer orders and requests are processed accurately and on time.
Support shipment and invoicing activities to meet customer and business commitments.
Adhere to established Global Trade export policies and requirements.
Ensure compliance with DOC/DOS licensing requirements for international exports.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and help implement new procedures across departments.
Maintain accurate documentation and provide status updates on customer orders and transactions.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service, order administration, sales support, or a related administrative role.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with sales order entry, order management, or customer account coordination.
Background supporting manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Familiarity with global trade, export regulations, or international shipping processes.
Experience using ERP systems or other order management platforms.
Demonstrated success working in a high-volume environment requiring frequent multitasking.

Pay Details: $22.81 per hour
