Summary:

Designs and plans layout for warehouse automation and general warehousing best practices.

Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for receiving, decanting, packing, and preparing basic material with emphasis on automated solutions.

Evaluates conflicting requirements, economic methods, and operator effectiveness with a focus on automated solutions.

Conducts tests and measurements throughout production stages to determine control over variables such as material movement times, efficiency, automation utilization, and payback.

Establishes and submits processing requirements for designing and acquiring automated warehouse processing equipment.

Uses SAP Warehouse Management software for warehouse operations and automation.

Applies experience with automated end-of-line and logistical solutions for warehouse optimization.

Manages large-scale automation projects from planning through execution and delivery.

Coordinates with automation vendors including Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, KNAPP, and SSI Schaefer.

Designs and implements automated warehouse processing equipment and solutions.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor s degree in logistics, engineering, or business.

No less than 5 years of experience using SAP Warehouse Management Software.

8 years of experience with automated end-of-line and logistical solutions.

8 years of experience in warehouse operations.

8 years of experience managing large-scale automation projects.

Experience with automation vendors such as Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, KNAPP, and SSI Schaefer.

Experience planning sequence of operations for receiving, decanting, and packing processes.

Experience conducting tests and measurements for material movement efficiency and automation utilization.

Experience establishing processing requirements for automated warehouse processing equipment.
