Product Acceptance Specialist – Ensure Excellence in Aerospace Quality & Compliance
Pay Rate: $45.14/hr
Location: San Antonio, TX
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Product Acceptance Specialist to support aerospace quality verification and product acceptance activities. In this critical role, you'll ensure customer orders meet regulatory, quality, and contractual requirements before shipment, helping maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Perform detailed inspections of customer orders and aerospace components
Verify product conformance to engineering, regulatory, and customer requirements
Validate documentation accuracy and completeness before shipment
Determine appropriate FAA approval types and part applications
Complete and review:
FAA Form 8130-3
ATA 106 documentation
Other required regulatory and customer records
Ensure compliance with:
FAA requirements
Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations
Customer flow-down requirements
Company quality procedures
Segregate and control non-conforming materials
Support corrective actions and quality investigations when required
Route and prioritize work according to operational requirements
Help maintain compliance within a highly regulated aerospace environment
Enter and maintain accurate records within SAP
Scan materials into and out of Quality Assurance workstreams
Track inspection status and documentation throughout the process
Support inventory and order verification activities
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Support teams
Provide support in additional quality functions as assigned by leadership
Ensure timely order processing to meet customer commitments
10+ years of experience in:
Aerospace
Manufacturing
Quality Assurance
Other regulated industries
10+ years of SAP experience
10+ years of quality inspection experience
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Reliable attendance and punctuality
6+ years of experience working in a cross-functional team environment
Knowledge of:
FAA documentation
Aerospace quality systems
Product acceptance processes
Regulatory compliance requirements
Experience working with customer-specific quality requirements
Ability to:
Ascend and descend ladders
Work in confined spaces
Stand and walk for extended periods
Frequently reach overhead
Lift and move materials up to 35 lbs.
Ability to pass:
Visual acuity testing
Color perception testing
Comfortable working in environments with:
Noise exposure
Elevated platforms
Hazardous materials
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Strong aerospace quality inspection experience
Familiarity with FAA and aviation regulatory requirements
Advanced SAP proficiency
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to identify and control non-conforming products
Strong organizational and communication skills
