As a Technical Designer Engineer, you'll play a key role in bridging the gap between engineering concepts and real-world production. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams, you'll help create technical solutions that address product and process challenges as they arise throughout the aircraft lifecycle.

From drafting and model changes to supporting design improvements and failure analysis efforts, your work will help ensure the successful development and production of innovative aviation products.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Create and modify drafted parts, assemblies, and product structures to support manufacturing and quality objectives
  • Translate engineering concepts and design feedback into detailed physical part geometry and assembly definitions
  • Perform model definition changes based on engineering requirements
  • Support product and process issue resolution in real-time production environments
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to drive design improvements
  • Review engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Assist in evaluating non-conformances and identifying corrective and preventative actions
  • Support engineering laboratory and failure analysis activities
  • Contribute to the evaluation of emerging technologies for future aerospace applications
  • Develop and maintain requirements, specifications, and supporting technical documentation
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives throughout the product lifecycle—from design through production and fleet support

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Associate Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
