Pay Rate starting at : $39.17 /hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading force in the aviation industry to hire a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a vital role in bridging engineering design and production execution. In this position, your expertise will directly influence how engineering changes are translated into efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes—ensuring aircraft systems meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability.





What You’ll Do



As a key member of the manufacturing engineering team, you will:




  • Review and analyze engineering change requests (ECRs) to assess impact on manufacturing processes, tooling, and assembly
  • Collaborate with design engineers and service bulletin teams to clarify requirements and ensure manufacturability
  • Participate in change control boards, presenting insights and recommendations to support decision-making
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOM), and retrofit solutions
  • Identify tooling requirements, initiate orders, and assist in tooling lifecycle management
  • Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including quality, supply chain, and production to integrate changes smoothly
  • Assist in supplier integration by reviewing data and ensuring compliance with manufacturing requirements
  • Develop work instructions and sequencing to meet production schedules and delivery commitments
  • Maintain and monitor internal documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance




What You Bring



Required Qualifications




  • Associate degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing engineering or technician role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working independently with general supervision
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               

     


Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes and retrofit programs
  • Exposure to cross-functional manufacturing and design collaboration

Pay Details: $39.17 per hour
