Job Title: Product Repair/Modification Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Assignment)

Work Environment: 100% Onsite

As a Product Repair/Modification Technician, you'll play a vital role in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification activities. Your work will directly support the safety, performance, and reliability of aircraft while contributing to high-profile aviation programs.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Perform flight control installation, removal, rigging, and landing gear servicing.
  
• Complete component change-outs, including servo pumps, filters, and engine components.
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and modification requirements.
  
• Perform structural repairs and modifications according to established procedures.
  
• Access aircraft maintenance data through computer systems and submit parts and discrepancy requests.
  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot assembly and maintenance-related issues.
  
• Use precision measuring tools, gauges, and instruments to verify compliance with quality standards.
  
• Follow all safety protocols, including Hazardous Energy and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  
• Maintain required certifications, permits, and qualifications for assigned work.
  
• Assist Avionics, Structures, and Electrical teams to support production schedules and operational goals.
  
• Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and safely lift materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
  
• Comply with site tool control and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) procedures.
  

Note: Successful candidates must pass an assessment at the conclusion of the training cycle.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
  
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience using basic hand tools.
  
• Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and weekends when needed.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  
• Reliable attendance and dependability.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance, depot-level maintenance, or aircraft modifications.
  
• Experience performing aircraft engine runs and engine borescope inspections.
