Description:
The successful candidate will be in joining the program as the Nacelle moves from its product definition into the manufacturing/delivery phase. In parallel to this, momentum is building towards hardware qualification and subsequent certification of the product. In this new role it is essential that the design and make supplier activities remain aligned to the needs of the Project and Customer necessitating that candidate possess a blend of engineering knowledge, program management, personal influence and judgement reflected by the grade
•Interface with Nacelle supplier both Program and Engineering teams including leadership teams
•Ensure task expectations are clear and actions are closed
•Supports task delivery and integrated project plan, including closure of CDR and delivery of development and flight test hardware on time.
•Maintain appropriate metrics to track progress and issue a weekly report into the RR leadership team
•Supports Airframer approval process on Engineering and Quality documentation (e.g. drawings, QTPs, Concessions)
REQUIRED
•Experience in program management, ideally within powerplant or aerospace development.
•Engineering background preferred.
•Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience engaging customers or suppliers.
•Strong focus on delivery and problem-solving.
