Assembler Opportunity with PDS Tech Commercial in Support of a Premier Aerospace Partner 

Job Title: Assembler - FAA
Job Type: Contract, 3 months 
Location: St Charles, IL
Schedule: 1st shift, 7am to 4pm
Pay Rates: $25.00

As an Assembler, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting critical wheel and brake operations for cutting-edge aerospace platforms. Your work ensures aircraft systems remain safe, reliable, and ready for flight. This is your opportunity to build high-impact components that matter—one part at a time. 

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities) 

In this role, you will support the full wheel and brake assembly process, including: 

• Receiving wheel and brake components and preparing them for processing. 

• Unboxing, inspecting, disassembling, and cleaning parts. 

• Performing sandblasting operations and preparing components for delivery. 

• Completing routine production assembly tasks on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual techniques. 

• Using hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively. 

• Following detailed work instructions and maintaining a clean, organized work area. 

• Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and aerospace standards. 

   

Required Qualifications 

• Experience using hand tools. 

• Experience using power tools and/or air tools. 

• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced production environments. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or aerospace environments. 

• Familiarity with wheel and brake components or similar mechanical systems. 

• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, diagrams, or technical documents.
