PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire an Operations Compliance Specialist. As an Operations Compliance Specialist, you'll assist with internal audits, analyze operational data, and help ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), and company policies. Your work will contribute to operational excellence and support the integrity of high-impact aerospace programs.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Assist with internal audits to evaluate operational controls, processes, and compliance.
Review and analyze data to identify compliance gaps and process deficiencies.
Verify adherence to FAR, DFAR, and internal policies and procedures.
Document audit findings and prepare reports for management review.
Support corrective action plans and follow-up activities.
Maintain audit documentation, procedures, and compliance records.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and support audit activities.
Research regulatory requirements and help ensure ongoing organizational compliance.
Assist with continuous process improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance programs.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
0–2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
Basic analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Exposure to audit procedures and compliance practices.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work with compliance systems and databases.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of related experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or prior experience in compliance, auditing, or internal controls.
Background in the aerospace and defense industry.
Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. military programs.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance, audit documentation, and continuous improvement practices.
