Clearance: Secret, Interim may be considered.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Develops component and system designs based on customer requirements and interface control documents.

Designs mechanical systems for modifying existing hardware and integrating modified components into various platforms.

Ensures designs comply with applicable military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and related design and drafting standards.

Collaborates with electrical and mechanical teams to develop integrated design solutions.

Supports in-house fabrication of designed components and systems.

Supports installation and integration of designs by providing assistance to manufacturing and installation workforce.

Performs design reviews and documentation for mechanical systems.

Applies knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to product modification and integration.

Works with engineering teams to develop designs based on customer specifications.

Supports manufacturing and installation teams during fabrication and integration of mechanical designs.

Requirements:

Secret, Interim may be considered.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience in mechanical design and product modification.

Experience with mechanical system integration into platforms.

Knowledge of military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and related design and drafting standards.

Proficiency with CAD software for mechanical design and modeling.

Experience with design reviews and documentation.

Ability to interpret interface control documents and customer requirements.

Experience supporting fabrication, installation, and integration of mechanical designs.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams including electrical and mechanical disciplines.
