Maintenance Technician
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the industrial instrumentation and manufacturing industry to hire a Maintenance Technician who is passionate about keeping equipment, facilities, and operations running at peak performance. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting facility operations by maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment. Your work will directly contribute to production uptime, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and facility infrastructure.
Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Perform light carpentry and construction projects as needed.
Respond quickly to equipment issues by working with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Model Shop personnel, and other departments.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability, safety, energy efficiency, and overall facility performance.
Provide courier services for company materials and documents when required.
Assist with training new maintenance team members.
Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives, and other assigned duties.
High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows.
Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures and company policies.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
Flexibility to support facility needs outside of normal business hours when required.
Experience with HVAC, compressed air systems, and manufacturing equipment maintenance.
Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) maintenance experience.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control training or willingness to complete required training.
