Schedule: 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm
Pay Rates: $25.50/hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a detail-oriented Receiving Inspector (Inspection Technician II). As a Receiving Inspector, you'll inspect incoming materials and manufactured assemblies to verify compliance with engineering drawings, workmanship standards, and quality requirements. Your attention to detail will help ensure only quality components move into production, supporting the delivery of world-class aerospace products.
In this role, you will:
Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections following established procedures.
Inspect supplier products and internally manufactured assemblies for compliance with engineering drawings and workmanship standards.
Document inspection results and product discrepancies using company procedures.
Determine product acceptance based on specifications and quality requirements.
Interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and technical documentation.
Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface plates, and other inspection tools.
Complete SAP transactions and maintain accurate inspection records.
Support audits and answer quality-related questions.
Prioritize inspection activities to meet production schedules.
Support multiple product lines while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
High School Diploma, GED, or vocational/technical education in a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of inspection, manufacturing, or quality experience.
Experience performing receiving, in-process, or final inspections.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and technical documentation.
Experience using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface plates.
Experience documenting inspection results and product discrepancies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience using SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is a plus.
