Senior Engineering Program Manager
Pay Rate: $40.00/hr
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead capital projects, facility improvements, and strategic engineering initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing projects from concept through execution, collaborating with engineering, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to ensure facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are ready to support future business growth and operational success.

Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects and facility improvement initiatives
Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Drive projects from concept through implementation while maintaining alignment with business objectives
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality expectations
Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and leadership teams to identify and prioritize capital equipment needs
Support facility upgrades, equipment installations, and production expansion efforts
Lead equipment sourcing activities and evaluate technical solutions to meet operational requirements
Support new product introductions and program launch activities
Coordinate site readiness efforts for new contracts and business opportunities
Manage facility moves, workspace planning, and infrastructure preparations
Conduct vendor evaluations, pricing reviews, and supplier negotiations
Coordinate activities between internal teams and external suppliers
Ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders
Monitor project progress against schedules, budgets, and milestones
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Prepare and present project updates, performance metrics, and cost analyses to leadership
Maintain project documentation and reporting requirements
Support long-term facility and operational planning initiatives
Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and project execution
Contribute to strategic planning and operational excellence efforts
Bachelor's degree in:
Engineering
Project Management
Related technical field
Minimum 3 years of project management experience in:
Manufacturing
Industrial operations
Engineering environments
Experience leading capital project planning and execution
Experience with equipment procurement and vendor management
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Knowledge of:
Lean Manufacturing
Six Sigma
Continuous Improvement methodologies
Ability to read and interpret:
Engineering drawings
Technical specifications
Schematics
Strong financial acumen, including:
Budget development
Forecasting
Cost analysis
Cost control
Experience supporting facility expansion or manufacturing infrastructure projects
