JOB TITLE: Aircraft Quality Inspector

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Verifies product conformance requirements and performs physical product inspections.

Validates documentation for accuracy and FAA Type Approval code for customer product.

Segregates and controls all non-conforming items in compliance with quality procedures.

Scans product to inspector s line for product inspection and order verification.

Completes 8130-3 and non-regulatory documentation (ATA 106) for customer orders.

Routes work according to weight requirement and re-directs if necessary.

Completes verification compliant to Customer flow down requirements.

Enters information in SAP and scans material in and out of QA.

Performs complete part inspections on customer orders to determine FAA approval type and part application.

Ensures timeliness and accuracy of orders to meet customer satisfaction requirements.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.

5+ years of experience using SAP for inspection and documentation entry.

5+ years of experience in quality inspection processes.

Ability to lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional work environment.

Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception tests.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Ability to handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material.

Ability to ascend and descend vertical work ladders and work in confined spaces.
