Position Details

Position: Composite & Bonding Processing Engineer

Location: Ridley Park, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Duration: 12-Month Consultant Assignment

Pay Rate: Starting at $58.41/hour

What You'll Do

• Perform composite material testing and processing activities.
  
• Conduct failure analysis and investigate material or process issues.
  
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations.
  
• Develop material test plans, reports, and technical documentation.
  
• Support qualification of new materials, tools, and manufacturing processes.
  
• Work with laboratory technicians and engineers on aerospace development projects.
  
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support continuous improvement efforts.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Experience with composite processing or testing.
  
• Ability to analyze data and develop technical conclusions.
  
• Experience reading technical requirements and specifications.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
  
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
  
• Background in failure analysis, destructive testing, or mechanical testing.
  
• Knowledge of adhesive materials such as epoxies, urethanes, and polyimides.
  
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  
• Master's degree or PhD in a related discipline.
