Location: Jupiter, FL | Payrate: $30 - $40/hour | Schedule: 1st shift 5/40 

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled Tests & Instrumentation Engineer. Your Impact 

As a Tests & Instrumentation Engineer, you'll support the development, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems used to capture essential engineering test data. Your expertise will help validate aircraft performance and support the success of advanced aerospace programs. 

What You'll Do 

• Build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems. 

• Support instrumentation setup, checkout, calibration, and operational testing. 

• Read and interpret electrical wiring schematics and technical documentation. 

• Build cable harnesses, perform wire terminations, soldering, stripping, and crimping. 

• Install sensors and integrate instrumentation systems on aircraft. 

• Operate data acquisition systems (DAS) and other recording equipment. 

• Perform scheduled maintenance and calibration to ensure data accuracy and equipment reliability. 

• Follow standard operating procedures and engineering instructions to support test operations. 

What You'll Bring 

Required Qualifications 

• 4–6 years of instrumentation experience. 

• 4–6 years of experience building cable harnesses. 

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. 

• Proficiency in soldering, wire stripping, crimping, and electrical assembly techniques. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience supporting aerospace or aircraft testing programs. 

• Familiarity with instrumentation calibration and data acquisition systems. 

• Experience integrating instrumentation on aircraft or complex mechanical systems.
