Location: Ridley Park, PA

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift (7:00 AM-4:00 PM)

Pay Rate: Starting at $48.68 per hour

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll help transform engineering designs into efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes that support the production of Chinook airframe structures and assemblies. Working alongside engineering, production, quality, tooling, planning, and supply chain teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and built to the highest standards of safety and performance.

What You'll Do



Support Manufacturing Process Development




  • Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for airframe components and assemblies.
  • Participate in producibility reviews and manufacturing readiness activities for new and revised designs.
  • Translate engineering drawings, specifications, models, and requirements into practical manufacturing processes and work instructions.
  • Support the development of tooling, fixtures, jigs, and assembly methods that enhance manufacturing efficiency.


Drive Problem Solving and Production Success




  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues impacting production quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects, process disruptions, and quality concerns.
  • Apply engineering analysis and structured problem-solving techniques to improve production performance.
  • Assist in resolving production line challenges to support continuous workflow.


Collaborate Across Teams




  • Work closely with design engineering to improve manufacturability, assembly sequencing, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Partner with quality, tooling, planning, and supply chain teams to support manufacturing objectives.
  • Maintain and update process plans, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing organization.




Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in:

    • Manufacturing Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Or a related engineering field


  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience supporting mechanical assemblies or manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, models, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience participating in root cause analysis, corrective action, or manufacturing problem-solving activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.




Preferred Qualifications




  • Aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience supporting airframe structures, assemblies, or mechanical production processes.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing readiness reviews and process improvement initiatives.
  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of advanced technical education and experience.
  • ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred, though not required.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
