PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Liaison Engineer to support a major defense aircraft program. This role is ideal for engineers with a background in MRB (Material Review Board), Liaison Engineering, Product Review Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering who enjoy solving complex production issues and working directly on the aircraft production floor.

You'll serve as a critical link between Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Leadership, developing engineering dispositions, resolving non-conformances, and supporting aircraft production from build through delivery.

What You'll Do

 Product Review & MRB Support

• Review and disposition non-conforming hardware, assemblies, and installations
  
• Develop engineering dispositions for production-related discrepancies
  
• Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and documentation
  
• Ensure technical resolutions meet design intent, safety, and quality requirements
  

 Liaison Engineering & Production Support

• Serve as the on-site Engineering representative supporting aircraft production
  
• Work directly with Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering teams to resolve build issues
  
• Support production flow by providing timely engineering solutions
  
• Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities
  

 Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions

• Investigate technical, operational, and quality issues
  
• Perform root cause analysis on product and process non-conformances
  
• Develop interim and permanent corrective actions
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues
  

 Structural Evaluation & Repair Design

• Design structural repairs for aircraft components and assemblies
  
• Analyze damage and determine appropriate repair methods
  
• Evaluate structural modifications and support safe implementation
  
• Conduct basic static strength analyses to validate repair solutions
  

 Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with Boeing engineering standards and design requirements
  
• Support supplier and build partner compliance activities
  
• Review deviations that could impact aircraft safety or design intent
  
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation
  

 Testing & Investigation Support

• Develop non-destructive test procedures and standards
  
• Support aircraft troubleshooting activities
  
• Assist with accident investigations and field repair activities as required
  
• Support electrical, communication, and mission system fault investigations
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience (flexibility considered for highly qualified candidates)
  
• Prior experience in:

• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and aircraft design principles
  
• Experience resolving production non-conformances
  
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Ability to work directly with cross-functional production teams
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Boeing Product Review or Liaison Engineering experience
  
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
  
• Experience supporting military aircraft programs
  
• Knowledge of structural repairs and aircraft modifications
  
• Static strength analysis experience
  
• Experience working in production or factory environments
  
• Familiarity with aircraft systems troubleshooting
