Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Builds and maintains instrumentation systems to provide measurement data required by the Engineering Department.
Prepares, installs, checks out, and operates instrumentation systems for data acquisition.
Follows planned maintenance and calibration procedures for instrumentation and control equipment.
Reads and interprets electrical wiring schematics and standard operating procedures.
Performs harness builds and on-aircraft integration tasks.
Performs wire terminations and sensor installation and preparation.
Operates DAS and other recording equipment to ensure data validity.
Applies instructions prepared by technicians in the form of travelers for instrumentation tasks.
Maintains accuracy of data and ensures its validity through proper instrumentation setup.
May perform offsite instrumentation support at remote domestic locations as required.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics and standard operating procedures.
Experience building instrumentation systems and performing harness builds.
Experience with sensor installation and preparation for measurement systems.
Experience with wire terminations for instrumentation and control equipment.
Experience operating DAS and other recording equipment.
Ability to perform check-out and operation of instrumentation systems.
Ability to follow planned maintenance and calibration procedures.
Experience with on-aircraft integration of instrumentation systems.
Ability to travel to remote domestic locations for extended periods to support offsite program requirements.
