Summary:

Configures test beds per test procedures for lightning and static protection testing.

Operates lab test equipment including current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.

Repairs and maintains lab test equipment through circuit troubleshooting and soldering.

Troubleshoots electrical circuits to identify and resolve equipment issues.

Performs soldering repairs on electronic components and circuit boards.

Drills and cuts test fixtures and test articles to modify as needed for test configurations.

Collects test data and provides insights to support validation and certification.

Validates design compliance with global lightning and static protection standards.

Supports engineers in troubleshooting issues during testing operations.

Applies electrical background and circuit analysis for equipment setup and maintenance.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Familiarity with electronics lab equipment including current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.

Electrical background with circuit analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to repair and maintain lab test equipment through soldering and circuit troubleshooting.

Mechanical background with ability to drill and cut test fixtures and test articles for modifications.

Education typically acquired through Associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor's degree with 1+ years, or 5+ years of related work experience.

Ability to configure test beds and operate lab test equipment per procedures.

Experience with data acquisition systems for test data collection.

Knowledge of circuit troubleshooting for electronic equipment.

Experience with soldering repairs on electronic components.
