Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Summary:

Processes and moves production materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support production flow following standard work instructions.

Monitors work in process for production materials and components.

Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability.

Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.

Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

Uses CribMaster for tool inventory management and tracking.

Uses Andon for production status and issue notification.

Uses BESSY for inventory control and materials management.

Applies lean manufacturing principles to materials management and logistics.

Supports supply chain, inventory control, and manufacturing operations for tooling and materials.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

1+ years of experience with Production Control or Materials Management.

Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift.

Ability to lift, carry, move, and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts.

1+ years of experience with warehouse or logistics operations.

1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications.

Preferred: 1+ years of Tool Control experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.

Preferred: Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, or Quality.

Preferred: Experience working in CribMaster, Andon, and BESSY systems.

Preferred: Experience using lean manufacturing principles.
