Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Defines, refines, and documents system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements for circuit card designs.

Conducts trade studies to evaluate design options and recommends optimal implementations for circuit card assemblies.

Performs schematic capture for power distribution circuit card assemblies.

Collaborates with EPCAD to create layout and signal routing solutions for circuit boards.

Owns end-to-end circuit card designs and delivers all data and evidence required for Design Assurance reviews.

Generates and maintains architecture diagrams, requirements packages, and trade study reports.

Manages bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build up activities.

Verifies design compliance with shock, vibration, and other environmental qualification standards.

Works with systems, electro-mechanical, programmable logic or software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.

Applies power distribution architecture and EMI grounding and isolation techniques.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years of professional experience.

8+ years of experience with developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements.

8+ years of experience with circuit card design, integration, and test for power electronics.

8+ years of experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture.

Experience conducting trade studies for design option evaluation.

Experience managing bill of materials, part sourcing, and prototype build up.

Experience verifying design compliance with shock, vibration, and environmental qualification standards.

Preferred: Experience with system power design and power distribution architecture.

Preferred: Experience with EMI grounding and isolation techniques and MFC Design Assurance process.
