$21/hr, Monday–Friday 6am to 2:30pm
PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with an industry-leading aerospace and defense client, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler (Cabin Pressure) to join their high-tech Tucson, AZ Center of Excellence. This site specializes in cutting-edge electric power generation systems, electronic engine controls & sensors, and cabin pressure control systems for commercial aviation, general aviation, and military applications.
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity—not remote—and plays a key role in ensuring quality and safety for aerospace systems worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll be working hands-on in a fast-paced, precision-focused manufacturing environment. Daily tasks include:
Manual assembly of mechanical components: valves, regulators, ducts, and pressure control systems
Operating automated assembly and test equipment
Hand soldering and component inspection
Performing line setups, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues
Ensuring adherence to detailed engineering specifications and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
4–5 years of relevant mechanical assembly or production technician experience
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Mechanical aptitude with proven hands-on assembly skills
Ability to work independently and remain accountable
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions
Willingness to train on 1st shift (30–60 days) before moving to 2nd shift
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in soldering, mechanical assembly, or related technical skills
Experience with SMT processing, board assembly, or in-circuit testing
Familiarity with tools like Word, Excel, and documentation control systems
