Lead Supplier Strategy at the Highest Level as a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist with PDS Tech!

Pay Rate: $60.00 – $85.00/hr (Based on Experience & Location)

 

We’re seeking a highly experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist Principal to own executive-level supplier relationships and drive strategic initiatives across major aerospace programs. In this role, you’ll influence cost, performance, and supply chain strategy while collaborating across global teams.

This is a senior, high-impact opportunity for professionals with strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiation.

 What You’ll Do

 Executive Supplier Management

• Build and maintain executive-level supplier relationships
  
• Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery
  
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with cross-functional stakeholders
  

 Cost & Contract Strategy

• Drive direct material productivity and cost savings initiatives
  
• Lead high-impact contract negotiations
  
• Optimize working capital, including:
  
  
  
  • Payment terms
    
  • Pay cycle improvements
    
  • Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
    
  
  
  

 Supply Chain Strategy & Risk Management

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing business plans
  
• Implement dual sourcing strategies to mitigate supply risks
  
• Drive High Growth Region (HGR) sourcing opportunities
  

 Cross-Functional Leadership

• Align sourcing strategy across engineering, operations, and business units
  
• Foster Gold Business Enterprise (GBE) collaboration
  
• Lead initiatives across Cost Management (CM) and Growth Management (GM)
  

 Leadership & Development

• Mentor and develop team members
  
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  
• Drive a continuous improvement culture across sourcing teams
  

 Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in:
  
  
  
  
  • Supply Chain Management
    
  • Strategic Sourcing or Procurement
    
  
  
  
• Strong negotiation and executive-level stakeholder influence skills
  
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
