Summary:
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies for aerospace manufacturing.
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develops, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans for production operations.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Analyzes design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implements lean principles and technologies in manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with manufacturing engineering and factory tools such as CREO, CATIA, MES, DELMIA, or equivalent.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci).
Experience with CINCOM manufacturing systems.
Experience with process qualification, lean manufacturing, and automation or robotics.
Experience reviewing and approving other engineers work including installation plans, tool orders, and line stock checks.
Experience with 3D model-based instruction (MBD) for manufacturing.
Experience supporting defense or aerospace customers with complex manufacturing programs.
