Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Pay Rate: $45.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you'll identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, increase efficiency, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Working closely with production teams and leadership, you'll lead projects that improve quality, productivity, and overall operational performance.
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the production operation
Identify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, quality, and productivity
Coordinate and manage continuous improvement projects from planning through implementation
Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap of improvement initiatives
Partner with operators, supervisors, and leadership to gather ideas and implement process improvements
Utilize Lean, Kaizen, and other problem-solving methodologies to eliminate waste and improve workflow
Develop and deliver Lean training materials while promoting continuous improvement best practices
Track project performance using KPIs and other performance metrics
Conduct audits and ensure improvements are sustained through updated procedures and employee training
Document project results and provide recommendations for future operational improvements
Benchmark best practices and introduce new improvement ideas across the facility
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience in a Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Industrial Engineering role
Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
Strong understanding of Lean methodologies, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and other continuous improvement tools
Experience managing multiple improvement projects simultaneously
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification
Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biologics, or highly regulated manufacturing industries
Experience conducting audits and writing technical reports
Familiarity with CAD software
Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and training documentation
Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and performance measurement systems
