Lead Cutting-Edge Aerospace Propulsion Projects as a Senior Advanced Project Engineer
Pay: $50-$60
Shift: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Join a high-impact engineering team working on advanced aerospace propulsion systems, including turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft engines, as well as emerging technologies in electric propulsion and power systems.
As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer, you’ll combine technical expertise, systems knowledge, and program leadership to drive the successful execution of complex aerospace projects—from design through certification.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Manage project scope, cost, and timelines using tools such as EVMS and Agile/Jira
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for technical and program challenges
Technical Oversight
Guide engineering teams in the design, analysis, and integration of propulsion systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards, certification requirements, and regulatory guidelines
Oversee engine module design, integration, and testing activities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external stakeholders (OEMs)
Drive alignment across teams to ensure project success and technical excellence
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate technical documentation, design changes, and compliance records
Support requirements-based systems engineering (RBSE) processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in:
Engine design (turbofan, turboprop, fan modules)
Engine module leadership or propulsion systems integration
Aircraft/engine certification and testing
Strong experience with:
Program management tools (EVMS, Jira/Agile)
Requirements-based systems engineering
Proven ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams
Experience working with aircraft OEMs and stakeholders
Ability to work onsite in Phoenix (relocation required if not local)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
Experience with engine certification programs and testing protocols
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or similar credentials
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
