We’re seeking a talented Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and verification of Aircraft State and Aircraft Systems Monitoring & Synoptics applications for a Next Generation Avionics Platform. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of systems engineering, embedded platforms, and avionics software—contributing to safety critical systems that directly impact aircraft operation and situational awareness.
This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of onsite collaboration and remote flexibility.
As part of a multidisciplinary avionics team, you will:
Develop, integrate, and verify aircraft state and systems monitoring applications
Support systems and software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification
Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to design and analyze avionics functionality
Create and maintain system models, preferably using Simulink
Develop avionics display graphics using ARINC 661, with tools such as Scade
Integrate and interface with aircraft sensors and subsystems, including:
Air Data systems
AHRS and GPS navigation sensors
Flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, and FADEC systems
Collaborate closely with systems, software, hardware, and test teams to ensure end to end system integrity
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Background in avionics systems and embedded systems
Experience with systems or software requirements development, integration, or verification
Familiarity with aircraft systems, sensors, and avionics architectures
Model based design using Simulink
ARINC 661 graphics development, preferably using Scade
Experience with aircraft position and navigation sensors (Air Data, AHRS, GPS)
Hands on exposure to aircraft systems integration (flight controls, propulsion, environmental systems)
Experience working in regulated or safety critical environments
