Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9/80 Work Schedule
  • Pay Rate: $64.33 per hour




What You'll Do



As a Quality Inspector , you will be responsible for verifying that mechanical, electrical, and structural components meet established quality standards through detailed inspections and testing activities.



Key Responsibilities




  • Perform required inspections and nondestructive testing (NDT), including:

    • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
    • Penetrant Testing (PT)
    • Visual inspections
    • Dimensional inspections
    • Load testing


  • Evaluate mechanical, electrical, and structural components and assemblies for conformance to specifications and quality requirements.
  • Conduct inspections ranging from close-tolerance dimensional measurements to general surveillance of work in progress.
  • Interpret inspection criteria, procedures, engineering drawings, and quality documentation.
  • Make acceptance or rejection decisions regarding completed work and performed tests.
  • Determine and utilize appropriate measuring and testing equipment.
  • Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Support production and manufacturing teams in maintaining compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify quality concerns and assist in resolving nonconforming conditions.
  • Exercise the authority to temporarily halt work activities when quality or safety standards may be compromised.




Required Qualifications




  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, defense, or similarly regulated industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and inspection methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and make sound inspection-related decisions.




Preferred Qualifications




  • Previous aerospace, aviation, defense, or military manufacturing experience.
  • Nondestructive Testing (NDT) certifications or hands-on experience with UT, MT, PT, or related methods.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in highly regulated production environments.
  • Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques and close-tolerance measurements.
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or additional quality-related training.

Pay Details: $64.33 per hour
