PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to support an industry-leading organization within the global energy sector. As a Manufacturing Engineer III, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality and manufacturing efficiency by:
Generating, maintaining, validating, and optimizing CMM programs using PC-DMIS v. 2025.1
Programming complex components in accordance with engineering requirements, manufacturing standards, and Product Quality Plans
Utilizing Siemens NX 2206/2412 to manipulate CAD models and support inspection programming activities
Performing CMM program prove-outs and validating inspection results
Setting up, configuring, troubleshooting, and validating CMM hardware and software systems
Providing technical support to Manufacturing Engineers and shop floor personnel
Training operators on CMM processes, procedures, and best practices
Supporting daily manufacturing operations through hands-on problem-solving and process optimization
Developing and maintaining workstation instructions and inspection-related documentation
Leading continuous improvement initiatives focused on:
Safety
Quality
Delivery
Cost reduction
Collaborating effectively within cross-functional and matrixed teams
Driving positive change and implementing process enhancements in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Minimum 3+ years of off-line PC-DMIS programming experience
Experience generating and validating CMM programs in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of dimensional inspection processes and quality standards
Experience proving out CMM programs and verifying measurement results
Ability to troubleshoot CMM hardware, software, and programming issues
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline
Experience with Siemens NX 2206/2412
Background supporting advanced manufacturing or high-precision production environments
Experience leading process improvement projects
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies
Ability and willingness to support 2nd shift operations, when needed
