What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development strategies, producibility studies, and manufacturing approaches.
Refine, validate, coordinate, and implement conceptual manufacturing designs.
Manage program architecture and build strategies to support production goals.
Develop comprehensive manufacturing plans and drive continuous optimization initiatives.
Conduct complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing capabilities align with product requirements.
Identify, investigate, and resolve complex technical and production-related challenges.
Serve as a project manager to ensure contract requirements, design criteria, specifications, and schedule commitments are achieved.
Support the development of advanced design solutions and evaluate new product and business opportunities.
Apply Lean Enterprise methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
Document and communicate manufacturing best practices across teams and programs.
Mentor and guide engineering professionals through structured knowledge-sharing and development efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who bring:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
Typically 9+ years of related engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong background in aerospace, manufacturing, production engineering, or complex industrial environments.
Experience leading technical projects, engineering initiatives, or Integrated Product Teams.
Expertise in manufacturing planning, producibility analysis, and process optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Highly qualified candidates may also possess:
Master's degree with 7+ years of related experience or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
ABET-accredited engineering degree.
Aerospace manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of Lean Enterprise principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience supporting complex aircraft, defense, or advanced manufacturing programs.
Demonstrated success mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of production systems, tooling philosophies, and manufacturing process capability analysis.
