PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation industry organization to hire a dedicated Test & Evaluation Lab Tech in Seattle, WA. As a Test & Evaluation Lab Tech, you'll help drive innovation by planning, conducting, and documenting tests on products, systems, materials, and manufacturing technologies. Your work will directly contribute to the validation, reliability, and performance of aviation components and systems, helping bring advanced aerospace solutions from concept to reality.
Position Details
Location: Seattle, WA
Pay Rate: $38.00 - $45.00/hour
Duration: 12-Month Consultant Assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Training on 1st Shift
Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
In this hands-on laboratory role, you will:
Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes
Design, fabricate, build, and support test systems and methodologies
Coordinate test requirements and determine appropriate testing methods and capabilities
Prepare systems for testing through integration, setup, modification, checkout, and teardown activities
Analyze test data and document findings to support engineering and program teams
Participate in test readiness reviews and support ongoing testing initiatives
Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory, equipment, and test-related issues
Coordinate laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and repairs
Follow established processes, procedures, specifications, and safety standards
Support continuous improvement efforts within the test and evaluation environment
Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent advanced education
Experience working in a laboratory, technical testing, or electronics troubleshooting environment
Minimum of 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to follow detailed processes, procedures, and technical specifications
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and retain detailed instructions
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience supporting laboratory operations, test setups, or system integration activities
Familiarity with electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools
Experience documenting test results and analyzing technical data
Additional aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering support experience
