As a Design and Analysis Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, testing, validation, and lifecycle support of sophisticated aerospace electronic and electrical systems. Working alongside industry-leading engineers and suppliers, you'll help ensure mission-critical systems meet rigorous performance, operational, and compliance requirements.

Position Details
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Duration: 12-Month Consultant Assignment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $54 to $64 per hour
In this highly technical engineering role, you will:
Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements
Design hardware, software, and interface specifications for aerospace systems
Conduct testing and validation activities to verify system functionality and performance
Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and system integration efforts
Analyze and resolve issues affecting fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle
Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure compliance with engineering requirements
Support configuration management activities and change control processes
Participate in hardware audits and compliance reviews
Work with aerospace communication protocols including MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data buses
Research emerging technologies and evaluate their potential application to future aerospace programs
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited engineering program
2+ years of engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience with configuration management processes
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
Familiarity with MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data buses
Experience supporting hardware audits or audit-related processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment
Flexibility to occasionally support second-shift activities (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM) when required
Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or other highly regulated industries
Knowledge of systems integration and verification processes
Experience troubleshooting complex hardware and software systems
Familiarity with supplier management and system compliance activities
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
