About the Role
As a Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of advanced manufacturing equipment used in aviation production. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, optimize processes, and support the production of high-quality components that keep aircraft systems operating safely and effectively.
What You’ll Do
In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair in-line manufacturing equipment
Diagnose equipment failures and replace defective components or modules
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across a variety of production systems
Use technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools to resolve issues
Monitor and improve machine performance to increase efficiency and reliability
Collaborate with Production, Process, Quality, and Test Engineering teams
Maintain detailed logs for maintenance, repairs, and inventory
Utilize a range of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
Support process improvements and may redesign basic systems (optical, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing procedures
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of technical experience in manufacturing or equipment maintenance
Strong expertise in electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across processes and equipment
Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and soldering equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and prints
Experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) environments
Familiarity with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to complete required certifications (ESD, PWB Handling, First Piece, Component ID, etc.)
Flexibility to adjust schedule, including occasional weekends or alternate shifts
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with equipment such as:
MyCronic or Universal Instruments Pick-and-Place (PnP) machines
Kohyoung or YesTech AOI systems
MPM Screen Printers and SMT inline wash systems
Associate degree or vocational certification in a technical field
Additional formal technical training or a related degree

Pay Details: $26.00 to $35.00 per hour
