About the Role



As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in improving production systems, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality output across the entire product lifecycle. Your expertise in industrial engineering and lean principles will directly influence operational performance, cost savings, and innovation within large-scale aerospace manufacturing programs.





What You’ll Do



In this high-impact role, you will:




  • Apply advanced industrial engineering concepts to improve manufacturing, engineering, and service operations
  • Design, develop, and optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
  • Build and analyze models, databases, and metrics to support data-driven decision-making
  • Lead process improvements using Lean principles, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement strategies
  • Support product and process design teams across the full product lifecycle
  • Analyze value streams, capacity, workflow, logistics, and throughput to optimize operations
  • Manage project scope, timelines, cost, and risk using structured project management tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, ergonomic guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Research and integrate emerging technologies into manufacturing processes
  • Translate complex engineering and data insights into practical, actionable solutions




What You Bring



Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience defining, developing, or improving production processes
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data, models, and performance metrics




Preferred Qualifications




  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
  • Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in team-based environments
  • Background in process standardization and improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with project management concepts such as scheduling, risk analysis, and resource planning

Pay Details: $51.46 per hour
