PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading company in the manufacturing industry to hire Assemblers for a 1st Shift opportunity. Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
As an Assembler, you'll work alongside a team of 3–4 assemblers on a production line, collaborating to efficiently build high-quality electronic and mechanical assemblies. Unlike independent cell-based assembly, this role requires teamwork, communication, and maintaining production flow throughout the shift.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
Perform assembly operations using hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, diagrams, and verbal instructions.
Position, align, and secure parts using techniques such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, soldering, press fitting, and similar assembly methods.
Perform basic to moderately complex assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Rework or repair assemblies, including soldering, when required.
Identify and report defective materials or production issues to team leadership.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Rotate between workstations as needed to support production goals.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on assembly work.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative production-line environment.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety procedures, and technical documentation.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for assembling small components.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
Ability to lift between 5 and 50 pounds when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience.
Experience with soldering, mechanical assembly, or electronic assembly.
Familiarity with production drawings, blueprints, or engineering specifications.

Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Production Environment: This position is performed on a production line with a team of 3–4 assemblers. Work is completed collaboratively at production pace rather than independently in an individual work cell.
ITAR Requirement: This position is subject to ITAR requirements. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements for access to export-controlled information.
