PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Sr. Engineering Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to work on high-volume, repetitive testing of precision hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a clean room and high-bay environment. If you're a self-motivated individual with a strong troubleshooting background and a knack for problem-solving, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Be Doing: As a Sr. Engineering Technician, you’ll be responsible for conducting high-volume testing on commercial and military hydraulic/pneumatic units, ensuring top-tier performance and quality. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Precision Testing: Conducting hydraulic and pneumatic tests in a clean room and high-bay setting.
- Assembly & Breakdown: Assembling and breaking down test stands and test units.
- Efficiency & Standards: Studying and recording time, motion, and speed to improve efficiency and establish standard production rates.
- Troubleshooting: Using your experience to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Lifting: Handling equipment up to 35 lbs as part of the testing and assembly processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, or related fields.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-volume repetitive testing, particularly in the hydraulic/pneumatic field.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with little supervision.
- Strong decision-making skills, especially in complex situations.
- Familiarity with industry practices and concepts related to maintenance, production, and engineering tasks.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
