Role Overview: Your Impact
In this role, you’ll lead the design and integration of aircraft payload systems—from cabin interiors to cargo configurations and safety systems. Your work will influence the entire product lifecycle, ensuring innovative, compliant, and high-performing designs that meet both customer and regulatory expectations. You won’t just design components—you’ll help define the future of flight experiences.
What You’ll Do — Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system designs
Create and refine designs using 3D CAD tools (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, etc.)
Perform structural analysis and simulations, including FEM modeling to validate performance
Lead testing strategies, including planning, execution, and analysis of validation tests
Manage supplier relationships, supporting development, testing, and production activities
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
Support product lifecycle activities from concept and design through production and certification
Investigate and integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation in aircraft design
Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA regulations and certification standards
Communicate design and technical updates clearly across all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related STEM field
5+ years of aerospace engineering experience, including design and engineering release processes
Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools (e.g., CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, CREO, Autodesk Inventor)
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
Experience with structural analysis and FEM tools
Knowledge of FAA Title 14 Part 25 or EASA regulations
Background in aircraft interiors, insulation systems, or cabin design
Experience supporting production, quality investigations, and corrective actions
Familiarity with supplier coordination and technical management
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Pay Details: $76.91 per hour
