As a senior-level engineering leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in elevating manufacturing strategy and execution across complex aerospace programs. Your expertise will directly influence production scalability, cost efficiency, and product quality—ensuring world-class systems are built right, every time. What You’ll Do — Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead manufacturing process development, qualification, and continuous improvement across multiple production lines
Define and drive enterprise-level manufacturing strategies (lean, automation, DFMA, digital thread)
Guide production readiness planning, risk mitigation, and ramp-up execution
Architect and champion investments in tooling, automation, and capital equipment
Establish standardized processes and scalable best practices across programs
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using Six Sigma methodologies
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams
Integrate manufacturing early into product design and program reviews
Mentor engineering teams and review installation plans, documentation, and deliverables
Leverage data analytics, simulation, and modeling tools to optimize production flow
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field
12+ years of relevant engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Proven expertise in manufacturing engineering within complex production environments
Strong leadership experience guiding cross-functional teams and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related field
15+ years of progressive experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing tools
Experience with tools such as CREO, CATIA, MES, DELMIA, FlexSim, or ProModel
Familiarity with Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) and MESci systems
Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP
Proven success in supplier integration, production transfers, and process qualification

Pay Details: $84.42 per hour
