PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Technician to support advanced composite development and experimental prototype fabrication for a top-tier aviation leader. In this hands-on role, you’ll help shape next-generation aerospace technologies—working with innovative materials, building prototypes, and contributing to critical testing and development programs that push the boundaries of flight.
As a Technician, you will play a key role in prototype development and testing:
Perform composite development and experimental fabrication and assembly
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain specialized composite equipment and tooling
Build and assemble prototype components from lay-up schematics and engineering drawings
Operate advanced fabrication equipment for experimental builds
Conduct tests, collect data, and report findings in prescribed formats
Perform calibration and alignment checks; adjust or modify equipment as required
Prepare and mix custom resin systems, hardeners, and curing solutions
Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to support evolving project needs
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with composites, prototype fabrication, or related technical fields
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions
Hands-on experience with calibration, troubleshooting, and equipment adjustments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision work
Ability to document and report data accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with composite lay-up processes and materials
Experience in experimental or R&D environments
Background in aerospace or advanced manufacturing
Technical training or certification in a related discipline
