 Position Overview

• Job Title: Assembler
  
• Location: Owego, NY
  
• Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM (4/10 schedule)
  
• Duration: 12-Month Consultant Assignment
  
• Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
  

In this role, you’ll help build critical electronic and mechanical assemblies that support high-performance aviation systems—ensuring quality, reliability, and safety in every component.

 What You’ll Do

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including modules, panels, cables, and frames
  
• Follow detailed drawings, diagrams, and specifications to complete builds
  
• Perform soldering, wiring, bonding, and mechanical assembly tasks
  
• Use hand and power tools to complete both repetitive and complex assembly operations
  
• Conduct continuity checks and basic quality inspections on finished products
  
• Disassemble, repair, modify, and reassemble components as needed
  
• Support prototype builds and testing under simulated conditions
  
• Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
  

 Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in:
  
  
  
  • Mechanical assembly
    
  • Soldering
    
  • Bonding
    
  
  
  
• Hands-on experience with wiring and assembly tools
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production environment
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing environments
  
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards
  
• Experience working on prototype or experimental assemblies
