Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Performs removal, installation, and inspection functions of F-16 aircraft wings and fuel cells.

    Assembles and installs components such as fuel lines, hardware, and fittings on various aircraft.

    Diagnoses results of leak tests to detect drawing, specification, structural, and assembly sealing errors.

    Recommends corrective action necessary to correct deficiencies.

    Performs fuel system maintenance and repair tasks on military aircraft.

    Inspects fuel cells and related components for compliance with engineering specifications.

    Interprets safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Uses hands to grasp, handle, feel, reach, and perform repetitive movements.

    Frequently stands, walks, stoops, kneels, squats, crawls, twists, and works on or in the aircraft.

    Properly uses, handles, and disposes of hazardous materials and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

    Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

    Ability to perform removal, installation, and inspection of F-16 aircraft wings and fuel cells.

    Ability to assemble and install fuel lines, hardware, and fittings on aircraft.

    Ability to diagnose leak test results and recommend corrective actions.

    Ability to comprehend safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

    Ability to perform repetitive movements and work overhead.

    Ability to work on or in the aircraft with stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.

    Ability to properly use, handle, and dispose of hazardous materials per regulations.

    Knowledge of aircraft fuel systems and leak detection methods.
