PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Tooling Manufacturing Planner to support a world-class aviation leader. In this pivotal role, you will help design, implement, and optimize manufacturing plans and tooling strategies that directly impact quality, efficiency, and cost performance. What You’ll Do



As a senior-level contributor within Production Engineering, you will:




  • Lead the development and maintenance of manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and process documentation
  • Develop and implement manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Prepare build analyses and detailed cost estimates
  • Integrate suppliers, materials, technologies, and processes into efficient production workflows
  • Develop complex tooling requirements and manage tooling lifecycle from design through retirement
  • Lead investigations and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing issues
  • Conduct and oversee producibility assessments of engineering designs
  • Establish sequencing and work statements to meet aggressive delivery schedules
  • Develop scheduling templates and standard processes for broader team use
  • Draft, update, and maintain procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements
  • Benchmark industry practices and incorporate best-in-class methodologies
  • Work with minimal direction while influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders




What You Bring



Required Qualifications:




  • 6+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and specifications
  • Proven experience solving complex production and tooling challenges
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               


Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as PDM and CAPP
  • Background in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Associate degree (AA) or higher in a related discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional planning and process improvement initiatives

Pay Details: $43.48 per hour
