Summary:
Applies SPC, Six-Sigma, regression, and hypothesis testing to uncover root causes of non-conforming hardware.
Develops corrective-action plans, tracks effectiveness, and verifies that problems are eliminated at the source.
Designs and maintains Power BI or Tableau dashboards for defect trends, first-pass yield, scrap rates, and other KPIs.
Defines, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators for quality metrics.
Maintains audit-ready data to satisfy ISO 9001 or AS9100 and other regulatory and contractual standards.
Leverages Python, VBA, or Alteryx to automate data extraction and trend analysis.
Identifies and ingests internal and external data sources and builds robust ETL pipelines with quality assurance.
Translates complex analytical findings into visual stories and briefings for actionable decision-making.
Partners with Quality and Manufacturing Program Managers, engineering leads, and Change Control Boards on quality objectives.
Applies statistical methods for manufacturing including SPC, Capability Analysis, Pareto, and Design of Experiments.
Requirements:
Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
Professional experience analyzing large datasets, building automated reports or dashboards, or supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools including SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment and communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred: Hands-on experience with statistical methods used in manufacturing including SPC, Capability Analysis, Pareto, and Design of Experiments.
Preferred: Certification or training in Six Sigma, Lean, or other structured continuous-improvement methodologies.
Preferred: Experience building automated data workflows or ETL processes using Python, SQL, or Alteryx.
Preferred: Prior experience in Aerospace, Defense, or High-Reliability Electronics manufacturing.
Preferred: Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other aerospace quality standards.
